April 26th 2009 Bands in Accord Hosted their first Battle/Benefit for the Humane Society of Dallas County at The Curtain Club in Deep Ellum. The  turn out was great for our first show.  The bands were awesome.  Bands that preformed play all genres of Rock from Screamo to Pop it was great variety.  The bands that donated their time for this benefit were The Rubber Gun Squad, Sound Of Sulfur, Skylla, Original Formula, The Upides, The Forest Fire and Linda Vista. 

The Two bands that will play the Finals opening for End This All are The Upsides and The Forest Fire.

 

Congratulations and Good luck to those bands and thanks to everyone who is Making Music Make a Difference.

What an awesome day and night this was. The music was great. The judges had a difficult decision and decided to send 3 bands through.

Rubber Gun Squad filmed their video "Roller Derby Girls" at the end of the evening. There were Derby girls there that donated to the Humane Society and filmed the video with them from the Dallas Devil Derby Girls. 

 

The patio was rockin with the Humane Society Volunteers cooking food for the crowd. What a great way to spend Memorial Day Weekend
